US academics visits University of Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Pennsylvania University, USA President Dr Mary Linda Armacost visited the University of Peshawar on Monday and discussed the issue of increasing educational linkages with vice chancellor Prof Dr Haroon Rashid.
The two educationists agreed to further increase relations between the two universities and to benefit from each other’s research in various fields.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rashid said that the UoP had a long history spanning over almost fifty years, adding that academic excellence was the topmost priority of the university. He said the university had 42 departments and six academic faculties, along with a number affiliated schools and colleges. app
