Jihadi CDs doing brisk business in Peshawar

Peshawar, June 29: Shopkeepers of Peshawar's Karkhano Market are doing brisk business selling jihadi Compact Discs (CD), which are in great demand during the month of Ramazan.
Attihad, a shopkeeper at Karkhano Market, was quoted by the Daily Times as saying that he sells 20 to 25 such CDs, each of which cost between Rs 30 and Rs. 60.
Another shopkeeper said that he sold 25 to 30 cassettes everyday.
One shopkeeper said CDs relating to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bara and Waziristan were in great demand.
The shopkeepers have to wind up their 'illegal businesses', a police officer said by June 30.(ANI)
